Who we are

Ante Up is run by Coulter Heiberger, trading as Ante Up. Write to legal@anteup.club about anything on this page.

By confirming your email you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Ante Up.

What it is

Ante Up keeps the books for private groups: who's coming, what each person put in and took out, and who owes whom at the end of the night.

It takes no fee on any game, holds no money and moves no money. Members pay each other, outside Ante Up. It is not a gambling service.

The law where you play

You are responsible for knowing and following the law where you play. Ante Up doesn't know what your group plays or where, and doesn't check.

Age

You must be 18 or older, and an adult where you live.

If you host, you add only people who are 18 or older.

Using it

If you host, you are responsible for what you type about other people, and for keeping the links you send private.

Don't use Ante Up to break the law or to harm anyone. We may suspend a group or a person that does.

Your information

We keep the names hosts type, the email you confirm, your answers, the amounts recorded, and the devices you turn notifications on for.

We don't sell it, share it, show ads or run analytics. Nothing on any page loads from anyone else.

We email only an address you confirmed, and you can switch email off at any time.

Once you've confirmed an email you can erase yourself. Your name and contact details go; the amounts stay, so everyone else's books still balance.

No promises

Ante Up is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Keep your own record of anything that matters to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is the greater of what you paid Ante Up in the twelve months before your claim or $50.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by Minnesota law, and any dispute goes to the state courts of Minnesota.

Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, we'll ask you to agree again before you carry on.
